Joy in the wilderness

Recently, I had been brought back to one of my fav quote of all time
which is
"God never gives us more than we can handle.
He just pushes our limits so that we can handle the blessings that He has in store for us!"

This quote was written on a post stick and is on my room wall.
So almost everyday i will confess this to remind myself.

But it just seems that at this moment of time,
many of us are going through the wilderness.
and this quote just becomes louder and louder each day in my mind.

Hence as i was meditating on this and certain things that are happen to the people around,
i just feel God's telling me to be the encourager.
use His word and promises and the revelation that He gave me to encourage ppl.

When you go through the wilderness in your life, dun be sorrow but be of good cheer.
For you had been good and Lord has find u righteous and He wants to bless u even more.
Going through wilderness = blessing on the way.

The more easier way to explain will be in the "lay-man" term of a kid.
when a child is young and when he/she is having an major exam, let say EOY examination.
Many of the times the parent will encourage him/her by promising to bless them if he/her were to score well in this examination.

In the same manner, God's blessing at the end is an encouragement that He wants to give us while going through trails.

On the quote it states that God wants to push us to a limit to receive the blessings that He had instored for us. It is really same in the natural. If a parent were to bless their kids too much, they will end up become the so called "spoiled" kids. God did not want to spoil us but to enlarge our capacity to bless us even more. Just like when u eat a meal, u need to digest it than it your stomach will than be empty to have the capacity for more food. ITS THE SAME LOGIC!

another all time fav verse of mine is Luke 21:16-19
"You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. 17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls."

From my point of view, the "put you to death" part is not your human flesh but is your spirit man. In this walk, even and most of the time, your close one will be the one that "killed" (or i called it challenge) your spirit man. But the promise of God is there that NOT A HAIR of our head shall be lost. And it follows by saying PATIENCE, indeed, patience is really needed. You cannot rush the Spirit, you cannot hurry God.

Remember
no matter what happen, when God is with you and no one can be against you.

(of course there will be ppl there saying "yaya, say very easy mah"
i say to you, i had also gone through trails and testings and really, the above verse and quote are mannas of my spirit that i relay on at certain testings and trails of my life.)
Our God is the same, yesterday, today and forever.
just keep hanging there
ENDURE!!

and JIAYOU!

with love
